1. Description

The production of Prepainted Galvalume Steel Coil is almost the same with Prepainted Galvanized Steel Coil which difference is only the base metal. The base metal for PPGL is GL. Galvalume is the result of an ideal alloy of aluminum and zinc. It consists of aluminum(55%), zinc(43.4%), and silicone(1.6%).
Characteristics of Galvalume:
1) Corrosion resistence:
At verious enviromental conditions, GL shows better corrosion resistence than GI if the thickness is same, its service life is 2 to 6 times than ordinary galvanized steel. The corrosion resistence in the machining parts is much better than that of hot-dip galvanized due to micro cracks demormation parts of aluminum zinc plate is smaller than hot-dip galvanized.
2) Heat resistence:
GL plate can be used for a long time even if under 315℃.
3) Heat reflective
The reflection coefficient is double than that of hot-dip galvanized steel, which can reduce the inner tempeture in summer.

2. Performance Of Antistatic PPGI/PPGL

1) Its machining property and durability match that of the PPGI with common polyester as its base metal.
2) Its resistance to chemicals and solvents is slightly higher than that of PPGI with common polyester
3) Its surface resistance (Ω/cm2) is 10⁶-10⁹Ω (PPGI with common polyester: 10¹³Ω )
